Mario Paint Composer

This is similar to the classic game where you play music with various Mario designs.

Although the title suggests that you will be painting in the game, you can actually create your own kind of music. You're given a blank screen with the lines that you would find on a piece of sheet music. As you place various shapes, such as the iconic orange flowers or yellow stars, on the lines, you will be able to play back what you've created to listen to your song. Each picture has its own note, so it's best to see how the note will sound before you put it on the line. Those that you put on the top lines will make a higher sound while the images that are on the bottom lines have a lower sound.

There are menu options when it comes to playing back your music that you've created. You can speed up the song or slow it down to a point where you can easily change the images to get them to a position where the song is one that sounds the way you want it to instead of just random notes. This is pretty much all the game features. There aren't any missions involved, and there aren't really any kind of songs that you can copy. You can sometimes find examples of what others have done online to try to recreate the songs, but there isn't a book to follow along with on the game.
